Town crush high flyers

PELSALL VILLA 0, BROMYARD TOWN 3

BROMYARD deservedly took much needed maximum points from their trip to West Midlands Premier DiviSion high flyers Pelsall with a solid team performance.

The visitors took the game to Pelsall attacking strongly and in the 20th minute Craig Malins pounced onto a defensive error lobbing the advancing keeper to give Bromyard the lead through to the interval.

Going down the slope for the second half, Bromyard looked comfortable with their defence in great form and on the hour after some good work by Ted Baylis they went 2-0 up with a clinical finish by Tony McLean.

With 70 minutes gone Chris Allen broke free on goal but was hacked down by a Pelsall defender who received his marching orders and from the resulting free kick veteran striker Carl Fairhurst smashed the ball home to make it 3-0 sealing the victory in convincing style.
