Harrison seals Bromyard win

BROMYARD RFC 17pts, CHADDESLEY CORBETT RFC 5pts

BOLSTERED by the return from injury of some key players, Bromyard were able to record a convincing win in Division Six West (South West).

A dominant pack included in-form hooker Chris Wheelhouse, whose strikes against the head were to prove influential.

Tries by Will Tomkins and Tom Albert and a conversion by James Manning saw the home side take a 12-0 half-time lead.

A breakaway try against the run of play enabled the visitors to keep in the game but a Stuart Harrison try towards the end sealed the win for Bromyard.

Despite the conditions, the backs displayed some slick handling and the home side can be further encouraged by the solid performance of young Tristram Gibbs in the second row, who was making his league debut.
