On patrol with HMS Ledbury RSS Feed


ROYAL Navy minehunter HMS Ledbury left Portsmouth on August 2 to take part in a NATO task group deployment in the Mediterranean. The ship's public relations officer Lt Rob Garner has agreed to keep the Ledbury Reporter up to date with news of the ship's mission. His bulletins and pictures will give readers a keen insight into life aboard a modern naval vessel.

DURING the past week, HMS Ledbury has been operating in the English Channel off the French port of Dieppe in company with her NATO counterparts. Despite high winds and rough seas, Ledbury has been busy hunting the seas for historic ordnance from the Second World War.
