NEW construction plans for 50 homes in Bartestree have been unveiled this month by top ten UK housebuilder, Keepmoat.
The 50 new properties, which will be built and sold on private land, bought by Keepmoat will offer local people the chance to buy affordable, two, three and four bed homes just outside the centre of Hereford.
The new development, which will be called Malvern View, will also provide the chance for local contractors, builders and suppliers to attend a 'meet the developer' event in the centre of Bartestree village. During the event there will be opportunities for businesses to speak with Keepmoat's commercial and construction teams to find out how they can tender and become part of the local supply chain on Malvern View and other upcoming developments.
Charlene Withall, community investment manager at Keepmoat said: "We are committed to working with and growing local businesses in Herefordshire. Our latest development in Bartestree provides us with a great opportunity to work with reliable and supportive sub-contractors and suppliers in the area and will ultimately help us to grow our footprint in the region.
"Herefordshire is a key growth area for us as a business and central to that is the ability to grow our supply chain and work with like-minded companies who have a focus on training staff and further developing the housebuilding industry in line with the government targets."
The event details are as follows:
Time: 3pm - 6pm
Date: Tuesday, December 13
Location: Committee Room
Bartestree Village Hall
