WITH a voice so amazing she could sink the Titanic with soundwaves, pop diva Celine Dion has set herself a steady course for Birmingham.

In fact, the torch-song superstar, famous for many hits including the heart-tugging anthem from the movie Titanic, 'My Heart Will Go On', has a summer date at the Barclaycard Arena.

A spokesman said: "One of the most successful and widely respected female performers in music history, Céline’s return to Europe this summer will see her visiting cities that have not witnessed a performance from her since 2008’s “Taking Chances’’ World Tour, which became the second highest-grossing tour by a solo artist.

"The tour will feature an array of smash hits from her incredible 30 year career in music, which has produced over 250 million album sales, five Grammy Awards, two Academy Awards, seven American Music Awards, 20 Juno Awards and 40 Felix Awards.

"And in 2004, Céline received the Diamond award at the World Music Awards recognising her status as the best-selling female artist of all time."

Céline said: "I am so looking forward to returning to the UK and Europe this summer, these wonderful cities hold such special memories for me and I’m really excited to be coming back and seeing all my fans again.”

Celine will be at the Barclaycard Area on July 27.

Tickets for the show are on general sale from 9am on February 3 2017 via www.theticketfactory.com or by calling 0844 33 88 222
