THE BROMYARD based jazz and blues guitarist, Remi Harris, has a date at Linton Village Hall, after a stunning break-through year in 2016.
In 2016, Remi performed at the legendary Montreal Jazz Festival; he played alongside Jamie Cullum at the BBC Proms and gained critical acclaim for his second album, “In On The 2”.
And many of his UK shows have been sell outs.
A spokesman for the Linton show said: "Concert goers can expect a night of virtuoso guitar based Gypsy Swing infused with influences from Jazz, Blues, Rock'n'Roll, Funk and World Music, with repertoire from Django Reinhardt, Peter Green, Wes Montgomery, Jimi Hendrix and Charlie Parker to name a few."
Remi's latest album “In On The 2” has already received rave reviews from national publications.
Guitarist Magazine said: "Far from being a slavish acolyte of Django's holy order, his choice of repertoire and diverse influences bring something genuinely fresh to the genre."
Remi said: "Last year was a big year for me and I’m really looking forward to carrying the momentum through 2017 with my tour."
