KATE Bush tribute act, Cloudbusting, have a date at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall this June, with a mission to make a local audience go wow.

And on the way home they might feel like running up that hill.

A spokesman said: "With amazing hits such as Wuthering Heights, This Woman’s Work, Running Up That Hill, Wow, Babooshka, Hounds Of Love, The Man With the Child in His Eyes, Cloudbusting, Army Dreamers, and many more, it’s no wonder Kate Bush was listed as number two, after John Lennon, in the Telegraph’s Best British Singer/Songwriter category."

In 2014, Kate Bush made a highly acclaimed return to the stage after a 35 year break, gaining record breaking ticket sales whilst becoming the only woman to ever have eight albums simultaneously in the UK charts.

It is not known if Bush will ever perform live on stage again, but in the meantime there's always Cloudbusting, a group which aims to never rain on the parade of any true Bush fan.

A spokesman said: "Cloudbusting comprises five talented musicians who channel there inner alternative pop vibes to perform this astonishing music with emotional detail and stimulating visuals. The five-piece band has gained critical acclaim not only from audiences around the country but also radio, press and even Kate Bush’s own musicians and collaborators.

"Mandy Watson, who plays the 59-year-old singer, fell in love with her music when she saw Kate on Top of The Pops, and then discovered there was much more to her than her distinctive voice.

She said: “Her lyrics evoke stories and imagery that entwine effortlessly with beautiful challenging melodies.

Cloudbusting does not try to impersonate Kate, nor do we try to copy dance moves and costumes from the 1970s and 80s. Our ‘mission’ is to perform the music as faithfully to the original as possible and bring Kate's songs to the live stage – some of which have never been heard played live before."

She added: "Cloudbusting's show features interactive videos; some by our own videographer and some given to us by Kate fans across the world. Our aim is to transport an audience to another place and time.”

The date for the diary is Saturday June 17 at 7.30pm

Tickets are available from the Box Office on 01905 611427.
