Chance to sculpt with professionals

A NEW sculpture course run by renowned sculptor Caro Sweet will offer six days of professional tuition in the art this September.

On a six-day course at the Beeches Barn Studio in Bransford, Caro and fellow artist Sarah Cotterill will teach the art of figurative sculpture, and allow participants to create their own sculptures and learn how best to display or exhibit them. The course ends with an exhibition of the sculptures for family and friends of the students.

Talking about the September workshop Caro said: “It’s one of the only places in the UK where people can practise the traditional disciplines of figurative sculpture with working professionals.”
