Live band at Malvern youth centre


START the festival season in style tomorrow (Saturday, June 13) with Dubblehead, playing at the youth centre in Albert Road North, thanks to Malvern Fringe Arts Dubblehead are described as an extraordinary live band, blending electronic dub and ska, archive reggae samples, eclectic dance and world influences and live instruments in a free-flowing and mainly improvised set.

The band features Tom Brooks (ex-Ozric Tentacles/Global) and Nigel Shaw (Global/Riven), as well as Leaf Hillyer (guitar and electronica), Johnny O'Rourke (trumpet) and Ed Brooks (drums/percussion with Acid Mothers Temple).

The gig starts at 8pm and tickets are £5 on the door.
