New Gallery hosts Humph Hack exhibition

MALVERN Link's new art gallery Tiger Arts is hosting a solo exhibition by county artist Humph Hack starting on Saturday, July 4.

Humph’s work includes many historical buildings from around the world as well as a collection of life studies. Humph has lived in Worcester all his life and sells many of his paintings via the internet and this is the first time a gallery has been able to display his entire work.

"it is fantastic to be able to display my work and share my enthusiasm for painting with people in a local venue." says Humph, who has previously exhibited in Malvern and Pershore libraries, as well as No8 in Pershore.

"I am excited to find a gallery willing to work with local artists who are prepared to listen and come to mutual agreement over things like the retail price so it is attainable by all."

The exhibition’s first night, from 5pm to 9pm, is open to everyone and entry is free with a glass of wine on the night. The paintings will be on display at the gallery for a further three weeks. Parking is available behind Francis’s bed shop with the kind permission of Derek Francis.
