THE Swan Theatre in Worcester plays host to the no 1 Johnny Cash tribute band The Johnny Cash Roadshow on February 5 and 6.

The band, featuring Clive John as Johnny Cash, Nick Davis (electric guitar and vocals), Alan Parker (double bass and vocals) and Jim E Williams (drums and vocals), bring their energetic and entertaining celebration of one of America’s favourite music performers. The show is a tribute to Cash without trying to impersonate him.

The Johnny Cash Roadshow perform material from throughout Cash’s career from Walk The Line and Folsom Prison Blues recorded with Sun Records in the fifties to Hurt, Johnny Cash’s last release in 2002. There will be all the favourites, including Man In Black, Boy Named Sue and The Ring Of Fire.

The Johnny Cash Roadshow support Acorns Children’s Hospice at each of their concerts and a single Make The Most Of Everyday will be available to purchase at the concert with all proceeds donated to Acorns.
