Celebrate 20 years of party music

A SPECIAL performance in a city venue will mark 20 years on the road for a soul and party band.
The Official Receivers appear at Keystones, in Copenhagen Street, on Saturday, March 24 as part of Backstage Promotions’ regular Saturdays Live Bill.
Having performed regularly all over the Midlands since forming in 1991, the eight-piece promise to bring a high energy show to get the audience clapping and stomping along.
Their set includes covers of classic soul and Stax Atlantic tracks, appealing to fans of the likes of James Brown, Wilson Pickett, Sam and Dave, Otis Redding and The Commitments.
They will swing into action for a good time with a combination of raw vocals, a tight rhythm section and powerful horns.
