Distinctive sounds to grace a fine setting

A CHOIR with a distinctive sound visit the county on Saturday as part of their spring programme.
Priory Singers, a mixed group of 25 singers based in Newport, perform their Nocturne concert in Great Malvern Priory from 7.30pm.
The night, which takes its name from Lauridsen’s Nocturnes, will include anthems by Purcell and Stanford, Elgar’s Lux Aeterna, Lay a Garland by Robert Pearsall and Faure’s Cantique de Jean Racine.
Tickets are available at £10 from priorysingers.org or on the door.
The group is also set to perform Great Witley Church, near Stourport, on Saturday, May 12.
