A lively start to the weekend

A LONG night of live acts awaits at a city venue this week.

Blue Radio Records presents a packed line-up at The Marr’s Bar, in Pierpont Street, on Friday, June 8 from 8pm until late.

The complex sounds of The Cape of Good Hope will headline the night, complete with their formation of two drummers, two guitarists and a bassist interlinking to create an intense and mathy sound.

Elsewhere on the bill are God Damn, Mansize, The Deltorers and Coffee and Cakes for Funerals.

Tickets are £2.
