THE latest gigs from Backstage Promotions offer some great covers on consecutive nights in two city centre venues.

An energetic and eccentric performance can be expected from Come Up and See Me at Drummonds, in New Street, on Friday, July 13.

A variety of genres will be visited in a toe-tapping delivery, with Jimi Hendrix, Kasabian, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Killers, Oasis, Kings of Leon and T-Rex all featuring.

The John Steeds follow on Saturday, July 14 at Keystones, in Copenhagen Street, serving up some of the great guitar bands of the 60s, such as such as The Kinks, The Who, Manfred Mann, The Move The Beatles.
