Jools Holland's guests at Eastnor are revealed

JOOLS Holland has announced his line-up of special guests for his outdoor picnic-style concert at Eastnor Castle on July 4 Marc Almond, who established the first successful British electro-duo Soft Cell and had a string of international hits, the most successful being their multi-million selling version of the northern soul song 'Tainted Love', will join Jools and the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, along with Rubuy Turner, one of Britain's finest Soul Singers and R&B Divas.

Marc Almond established Soft Cell in the early 1980. The group's multi-million selling song 'Tainted Love' is as popular today as it was in 1981 and is regularly aired with the duo's other hit singles Bedsitter', Numbers', Torch' and Say Hello Wave Goodbye'. The single Memorabilia' was the first ever techno record and set the pace for a whole musical movement. Soft Cell notched up in excess of 10 million record sales worldwide and established a style that was to influence several generations of musicians that followed.

Ruby is currently performing her own gigs along with touring the country with Jools Holland. Jools features tracks by Ruby on his last three "Jools Holland & Friends" Platinum-selling albums - "Nobody but you", "Count me in" and "When I get home".
