Ne-Yo has revealed he is to be a father for the third time.

The So Sick star, who presented an award at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) with Kylie Jenner, announced on Twitter that his fiancee, Crystal Renay, is pregnant, while denying they have got married.

It came after she posted a photo on Instagram of him cradling her stomach.

Crystal, who started dating the singer in early 2014, wrote alongside the image: “‘No matter what they say’ our Miracle is on the way and I couldn’t feel more blessed. You’re (sic) negativity means nothing to us.

“We are happy, we’ve BEEN happy and will always be HAPPY no matter what they say. Thanking the Lord above for those who know my story know what this absolute miracle means to me.”

Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, also denied rumours that he persuaded his ex-fiancee Monyetta – with whom he has two children – to get sterilised.

The 35-year-old singer is already dad to four-year-old daughter Madilyn Grace Smith and son Mason Evan Smith, three, with the actress.

Ne-Yo, whose hits include Because Of You, Closer, Beautiful Monster and Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself), previously had to deal with persistent rumours about his sexuality.

He went on a Twitter rant after a website printed a spoof article, claiming to out him, following Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover.

He later responded to the article via Twitter, making it quite clear he isn’t gay, while lamenting how these rumours have persisted for so long.
