PERSHORE’S Number 8 theatre is bringing Worcestershire audiences the very best in ballet this month, with a live satellite broadcast from the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.
Tickets are now on sale for the world renowned Bolshoi Ballet’s production of La Bayadère on Sunday at 3pm.
La Bayadère was first performed at the Imperial Bolshoi Kamenny Theatre in St Petersburg in 1877.
Set in the Royal India of long ago, it is a grandiose production portraying a mysterious India and the impossible love between the temple dancer Nikiya and the warrior Solor.
The production is performed with the orchestra of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, the Bolshoi soloists and the Bolshoi Corps de Ballet.
Tickets cost £16 for adults and £12 for those aged 16 and under.
