THE court of Camelot with its gallant knights and fair ladies is coming to Inkberrow as the Inkberrow Players stage Ben Crocker’s Camelot the Panto next week.

Uther Pendragon, king of Camelot is looking forward to his son, Prince Arthur, marrying Princess Guinevere, but the sorceress Morgan Le Fay and Valerin, the King of Tangled Wood, have other plans.

Valerin wants to marry Guinevere himself, so with help from Morgan and her supernatural powers, he tries to woo the princess and steal her away from Arthur.

But King Uther has Merlin the Wizard on his side; is his powerful magic enough to save the day and make sure the course of Arthur and Guinevere’s true love runs smooth? Camelot runs at Inkberrow Village Hall, in Sands Lane, for three nights from Thursday, January 31, to Saturday, February 2, at 7.30pm, with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.

Tickets (£7.50) are available from the Inkberrow Post Office and The Forge Shop.
