A FAMILIAR face will take the lead role in an eye-catching stage show when it comes to Malvern for one week only.

Keith Jack continues as Joseph when Bill Kenwright brings his renowned production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat back to Malvern Theatres.

Keith was one of the most popular finalists in the hit BBC One series Any Dream Will Do in 2007, which saw millions tune in every Saturday to see who Lloyd Webber would select as leading man in his new West End production.

Chosen from tens of thousands of wannabees, he charmed audiences week after week with his vocal talents before finally coming in a close second to Lee Mead.

He went on to play the narrator in the UK tour of Joseph and in 2011 he took over the lead role, which he will continue to play in the Festival Theatre from Tuesday, February 26 to Saturday, March 2.

The family musical will burst onto the stage, retelling the biblical tale of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours through a host of unforgettable songs including Those Canaan Days, Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door To Me.

It runs at 7.30pm from Tuesday to Thursday, Wednesday and Thursday matinees at 2.30pm, 5pm and 8pm on Friday, and finally Saturday at 1pm, 5pm and 8pm.

Tickets range from £20.50 to £28.50, with £2 concessions available for over-60s and the unwaged.
