ACCLAIMED Muslim comedian, Shazia Mirza, will bring her controversial new show to Worcester.
‘The Kardashians Made Me Do It’ is set to invoke a wave of nervous laughs as Shazia explores topics of life, love, and Jihadi brides.
Inspired by three schoolgirls who left England to join ISIS in Syria, it ridicules the contrast between the naive dreams of manipulated Muslim girls and the barbarism of ISIS.
A spokesman said: "Inspired by three girls who left Bethnal Green to join ISIS, and an unrelated radio piece Shazia contributed to the BBC which subsequently received a record number of complaints, the show tells of the confusion it caused as she looks into the nature of offence.”
A practicing Muslim herself and listed as BBC’s Top 100 Influential Women, Shazia will target Sharia through her dark humour at The Swan in Worcester on Friday March 31.
The show starts at 7.30pm and the tickets are £15, on 01905611327.
