DOREEN'S up for a Grand Night Out and she's heading to The Swan in Worcester, as you do.

Organisers of the show are billing it as "a unique chance to see one of the final performances of Doreen’s Grand Night Out – a touring comedy creation from the writer and film-maker David Tristram, and performed by Gill Jordan".

A spokesman said: "With a unique mixture of satirical stand-up and sit down music and video surprises, local treasure and internet sensation Doreen returns to Worcester’s Swan Theatre to assess the state of the nation as only she can.

"And no doubt charabancs of local folk will assemble to hear her Black Country words of wisdom. It will be a very special night. In fact, it will be grand."

Famously, the character of Doreen is a Black Country woman afflicted with ‘lazy cow syndrome’.

The spokesman added: "Now back at The Swan Theatre, Worcester, the Black Country duchess will once again have audiences’ sides aching with her dark, small town, dry humour."

The show, on Saturday May 6, from 7.30pm, will contain adult humour.

Tickets on, 01905 611427.
