DOLLY Parton might not be home for Christmas at Worcester's Huntington Hall, but Lolly Parton will be there, with a tribute show for the festive season.

A spokesman said: "Country music queen Dolly Parton is a cultural icon who is hugely popular on both stage and screen; now Lolly Parton recreates her magic in this incredible live show, featuring all the hits that will have audiences singing and dancing.

"Including 9-5, Jolene, Islands In The Stream and many more, performed with all of Dolly’s infectious energy, this smash hit show is guaranteed to leave people talking about it for years to come."

Dolly Parton is the most honoured female country performer of all time. Today, Dolly is one of an elite group of individuals to have received at least one nomination from all four major annual American entertainment award organisations; Emmy, GRAMMY, Oscar and Tony.

In 2004, the US Library of Congress gave her the distinguished Living Legend Award. Dolly then went on to receive the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors and the GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award.

The spokesman added: "From singing barefoot on the front porch of her Tennessee Mountain Home to commanding the stage in six-inch heels, Dolly Parton is a larger than life living legend with a heart as big as her dreams. Her songs have captured the hearts of generations. Her electric smile has brightened the lives of millions, and her trademark style is recognised across the globe.

"So come on, leave that 9 to 5 and join Lolly at Huntingdon Hall on Friday December 8 for a toe-tapping evening of great country music."
