New Season at The Conquest Theatre

SOMETHING for everyone is promised over the next season at Bromyard’s Conquest Theatre.

Australian actor/comedian Mark Little (who played Joe Mangel in popular soap Neighbours) will kick things off with a solo turn in pre-West End show Defending the Caveman.

Described as “hilariously funny but horribly truthful”, the show affectionately brings the differences between men and women right up to date. It can also proudly boast to be the longest running solo play in Broadway history.

Defending the Caveman, which is recommended for adult audiences, will take place on two consecutive nights starting on Friday, January 29.

Saturday, February 6 sees Dave Sealey (of Cosmotheka's fame) brings his show The Cheeky Chappie, The Career, Contemporaries, Critics and Saucy Seaside Postcard World of Max Miller to the theatre.

Thursday, March 11 will see An Evening with Blowers, Caught Short and Grumpy as Henry Blofeld arrives on stage for an evening of anecdotes and much humour.

Other performances include Songs from the Show (in aid of Help for Heroes) which will take place January 14-16, the Beggars Opera, a world premier of Father Goose.

Following a highly successful visit, the Tribe - nine-piece blues band in the style of BB King, Ray Charles and Jools Holland - are also back.

Top that off with some great films such as Coco Before Chanel, The Fantastic Mr Fox for Friday Evenings, and some great Movies in the Morning, featuring On Golden Pond, the Happiest Days of Your Life, and the Great Ziegfeld, also with the locally filmed Shadowlands.
