Melting Pot takes on Hamlet

MELTING Pot is staging its new production Hamlet at the ArtHouse Cafe in CrownGate shopping centre in Worcester on April 18, 20 and 22.

With just a few changes of costume and props, it promises to be an exciting and fun production.

Director Amanda Bonnick is also playing multiple characters.

She said: “Playing several characters – boys and girls – is a real challenge.

“It’s what acting is about – making yourself look like someone different each time you go on stage.”

Melting Pot’s first production was The Herbal Bed by Peter Whelan in 2001 and since then has gone on to stage A Midsummers Night’s Dream and Macbeth amongst others.

Hamlet has attracted several new members to the group.
