MARGARET Thatcher, The Iron Lady, makes a comeback in a new, darkly comic production, Thatcher - The Musical!
With show-stopping numbers like The Cabinet Shuffle, The Grocers Daughter and The Thatcher Anthem, the all-singing, all-dancing cast of ten women take us through the personal and political life story of the UK's first female prime minister.
Designed to be entertaining and provocative, the show neither glorifies nor denigartes but shows Maggie looking back over her meteoric rise from grocer's daughter to being the most powerful woman of her day. From the miners' strike to the Falklands War and the Brighton bombing, this is an original piece of musical theatre by the Wolverhampton Foursight Theatre company.
Thatcher - The Musical will be at the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford, from Monday, to Wednesday, February 19 to 21, at 7.30pm. Tickets start at £10 on 0870 1122330.
