Getting active are (back, from left) Herefordshire Council bike trainer Katie Phillips, teacher Sarah Laws and council bike trainer Justin Goult, with Cameron Pearson (front left) and Joe Blackman.
SUTTON Primary Academy asked pupils and parents to get on their bikes in exchange for a free breakfast.
Its bike day saw 75 pupils cycle in to receive a free meal courtesy of Herefordshire Council's Destination Hereford project encouraging sustainable travel.
Children from the school in Sutton St Nicholas, near Hereford, learned about cycling safely and took part in games and exercises where they acquired new skills.
Teacher Sarah Laws said: “A total of 75 out of 90 children came along on their bikes to take part in the day’s activities.
“Our pupils don't need much encouragement to get active and this is a great way to get them energised.”
