THE golden post box in Hay-on-Wye will remain gold permanently, Royal Mail has revealed.

The postbox in Church Street, Hay, was painted gold in September to celebrate local girl Josie Pearson’s Gold medal in women’s discus at this summer’s Paralympic Games.
