A NAKED calendar celebrating a Herefordshire man’s lust for life is raising thousands of pounds for the Midlands Air Ambulance and making waves in the US.
Friends and family of 21- year-old Rich Warr, who died in a car crash near Shobdon last August, created the GameBirds calendar to raise funds for the ambulance.
The New York Daily News ran a story about the calendar on its website garnering a positive reaction from its readers.
The girls behind the fundraiser, including Rich’s sisters Hannah, Gemma and Verity, have already made £16,000 selling the calendar online, but hope to reach £25,000 with shop sales.
The calendar, costing £10, was unveiled at the air ambulance’s Strensham headquarters last week. A signed copy was auctioned on the day and raised £250.
The girls will be selling the calendar in Hereford city centre on Tuesday.
