A LEDBURY teenager is taking part in a sponsored walk this weekend to raise funds for a bereavement charity.
Seventeen-year-old Phoebe Crook is a youth ambassador for Phoenix Bereavement which helps children, young people and their families when someone close to them dies.
Phoebe will take part in the five-mile walk in Leominster this Saturday which begins at 10am at the town’s Tourist Information Centre on Corn Square.
She says she is walking as a thank you to Phoenix which helped her after her aunt and grandad died two years ago.
To support her text PBSS £5 to 70070 which costs five pounds and goes to those youngsters in the same situation she was in.
