Busy weekend for firefighters in Herefordshire

FIRE crews were called to a number of incidents in Herefordshire over the weekend.

An out of control bonfire was enxtinguished on the Rotherwas Industrial Estate in Hereford at 5.50pm on Friday, while on Saturday firefighters put out a lorry fire on the A40 at Ganarew at 11.40am and helped make a vehicle safe after it overturned at Bircher at 7.40pm.

And yesterday, a car caught fire on the A449 between Ross-on-Wye and Much Marcle at 4.10am and a chimney fire had to be tackled in Bosbury at 11.10am.
