A MAN has been charged with murdering Adrian Locke in Worcester as well dealing drugs in the city.

Mr Locke, of Wych Road, Droitwich, who was found by paramedics with stab wounds outside 42a Teme Road, Worcester, at about 7.20pm on Wednesday, January 2.

Despite their efforts, Mr Locke, 39, was confirmed dead at the scene by a doctor a short while later.

At about 7pm on Sunday, a man in his 20s was arrested in Birmingham and was held in custody at Worcester Police Station for questioning by detectives.

Overnight he was charged with murder and two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs, heroin and crack cocaine, from 42a Teme Road in Worcester between 1 December 2012 and 3 January 2013.

He is due to appear at Worcester Magistrates' Court this morning.
