Women didn’t pay for meals

TWO women were arrested after making off without paying for meals at Ledbury’s Feathers Hotel on two separate occasions.

Police issued a CCTV appeal earlier this week after the offences last Friday and on October 26 last year.

On both occasions, two women ate a meal in the hotel’s restaurant before asking for coffee to be brought through to them in the lounge.

After drinking their coffee they left without paying, leaving bills totalling more than £100.

A woman in her 60s from Callow End and a woman in her 40s from the Broadheath area were arrested on Wednesday night and both received cautions for the offences.
