A CHARITY shop was one of two businesses broken in to overnight on Tuesday.
Thieves stole thousands of pounds of car parts - including an Alfa Romeo car engine and a Ford Mondeo radio - from the yard of City Spares in Watery Lane, Hereford, between 5pm on Tuesday and 8.30am on Wednesday.
The British Heart Foundation on St Peter's Street was also targeted, and a small amount of cash was taken from a safe after the building was accessed via an insecure window. Hundreds of pounds of damage was caused to the safe.
