Snow is on its way, says Met Office

SNOW is currently falling on Hereford, according to some reports.

The latest Met Office forecast says that Worcestershire will be mostly dry and very cold today, with snow arriving later tonight.

Freezing fog may be slow to clear in some places this morning, but most areas will be dry and very cold despite some brightness. Some patchy snow is possible in the west towards evening when winds will increase.

Tonight, some patchy, light snow is expected, but most places will remain dry until the early hours when a strong wind will bring more persistent snow, perhaps heavy by dawn.

Friday will be windy with snow affecting all areas leading to some significant accumulations and the risk of disruption.

The outlook for the weekend predicts further snow on Saturday, becoming lighter and patchier. Sunday will be mostly dry but cloudy after freezing fog lifts. More snow and strong winds is expected on Monday.
