Sexual assault in Hereford

A GIRL in her late teens was sexually assaulted in the Tupsley area of Hereford yesterday.

She was walking along Prospect Walk, near the Whittern Way junction, at around 10.15am when she noticed three men walking towards her.

One of them spoke to her and touched her arm, but the girl pulled away from him and carried on walking.

But on her return journey at around 11.25am, the girl saw the same group, who were joined by a fourth man.

It is alleged that the man who previously spoke to her made some lewd comments at her and inappropriately touched her.

He is described as white, aged 19 to 20, six feet tall, of a slim build and was wearing a light-coloured waterproof jacket and tracksuit trousers.

I have no knowledge of law but I always thought innocent
till proven guilty ??? Feel sorry for the person someone seems to have decided he did whatever already even before arrested or charged or convicted. Surely this should read alleged she was sexual assualted. It has been known for people to waste police time on allegations which are true. I hasten to add though I am not saying this didnt happened just surely the wording/reporting is incorrect. I hope they (police) catch the people concerned

I agree, if I stuck my finger up your nose, that would be inappropriate touching. With the lack of information and the way this is titled, they are making it sounds like she was raped

Crazy and lazy reporting I think. No context at all .... Plus the vague assault happened at 11.25am .... Thats like lunchtime! What would it be like late at night!
