A MAN in his 20s was injured following a collision near Leominster this morning.
Emergency services were called to the junction of the A44 and A49 after a car and a HGV lorry were in collision at around 6.27am.
One man, who was in the car, sustained injuries to the chest, face and pelvis and was flown to the major trauma centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for treatment.
Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew attended the scene.
The road is now open.
