Valuable jewellery stolen in Herefordshire burglary

VALUABLE jewellery has been stolen from a house in Lyonshall.

Around 20 pieces of jewellery, including a gold ingot bearing the hallmark for 1977, were taken after a house in Burgage Close was entered some time between Thursday December 20 and Tuesday February 5.

An octagonal bangle and an aquamarine necklace and earring set, all nine carat gold, were also taken.
