A CENTENARY celebration of the birth of English composer Benjamin Britten will be the highlight of the next concert by the Newent Orchestral Society.
The concert, featuring Britten’s Matinees Musicales will take place at the Newent Memorial Hall on Saturday, June 1, from 7.30pm.
Rehearsals are Saturdays at the Newent Centre, Ross Road, from 10am to noon.
