School holds open morning for new pupils
SCHOOL children and their parents are invited to an open morning at The King's School in Gloucester.
New pupils would join the 530 girls and boys, aged three to 18, who are already taught at the school, which is set within the Cathedral grounds.
The school calims to offer academic excellence, small class sizes, outstanding pastoral care and a unique ‘Keystones’ approach, seeking to identify and develop individual talents and personal qualities.
Monday to Friday a varied academic and extra-curricular programme including music, drama and art is presented, with a vibrant culture of endeavour and scholarship which has flourished since the foundation of the school in 1541.
Recent additions include a brand new £2.5 million sports hall and a new Gifted and Talented Sports programme designed to support and nurture talented pupils, while the school’s 12 dedicated bus services enable access countywide.
The next open morning is on Saturday, March 9, 10am – noon.
