Visitors get chance to stand at top of tower
12:20pm Wednesday 27th February 2013 in News
VISITORS made the most of a rare chance to ascend to the top of a recently restored tower at a Worcestershire beauty spot.
The National Trust held a special event offering visitors to Croome Park the chance to scale the heights of Dunstall Castle and enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
The 18th-century structure is one of three “follies” at Croome, near Upton, that have been restored from crumbling condition by the National Trust over the last few years.
For anyone who missed it, Dunstall will be opening again on Sundays, March 24 and April 28.
