LOCAL businesses are invited to find out more about taking on an apprentice and to meet some o fthe county’s young hopefuls.
Herefordshire Council has organised a free business breakfast onTuesday, March12, at the Three Counties Hotel, Hereford.
Employers will be able to meettraining providers and learn more aboutthe financial support they can receive with an apprenticeship.
Coun Roger Phillips, cabinet member for enterprise and culture, said: “Following a similar event last year we set a challenge – to generate 100 apprenticeships in 100 days. Herefordshire employers rose to the challenge and surpassed this target, generating 183 opportunities.”
