Altercation at Aldi in Leominster

POLICE would like to speak to anyone who saw an altercation at a Leominster supermarket.

Two men were involved in a dispute with a member of staff at Aldi at noon on Monday.

One of the men was taken into an office while staff waited for police to arrive, while the other man was forcibly removed from the store, taking with him a black dog that he had brought in.

Once outside, a further altercation took place between him and the staff member when it alleged that member of staff was threatened with violence.

Officers are particularly keen to trace a member of the public who witnessed the second altercation and tried to stop the man from re-entering the store.

Witnesses can call PC Peter Owen on 0300 333 3000.

Perhaps, the English language should adopt a new word - aldication? I am sure silentbull is correct - there has been an over-emphasis on the word altercation recently in the Hereford Times.

An "altercation" was reported previously; perhaps the word is flavour of the month?
Such confrontation near to a station leads to elevation of the story in the HT. No mitigation is offered for accumulation of such words. It may be that augmentation of vocabulary is a calculation based on the editor’s idea of higher education for readers? This is a characterisation of modern communication commercialisation and should not lead to condemnation, or even castigation. Good words are not an abomination and should not provide an excuse for cancellation; rather such affectation should receive acclamation in these days of increased precipitation – what an abomination! Decriminalisation of punctuation is a recommendation in need of resuscitation. Frustration, in my estimation, leads to emasculation and devaluation of the soul; although that’s a generalisation. Realisation has struck me! This posting may be an abrogation of responsibility; indeed, a proliferation of transubstantiation whilst in a state of hallucination and hyperventilation! If this has been a miscalculation, please don’t shower me with intimidation, I’m suffering from dehydration.

Thank you, dippyhippy.
Like you, I was amazed at littlewhitebull's post. This man(?) is obviously spending too much time in front of his computer after swallowing the dictionary.
However, he has produced some quite extraordinarily amazing posts recently.
I look forward to some more brain fodder!

Thanks for the appreciation. I was sitting at my workstation seeking some titillation for my jollification whilst working on my accreditation spread-sheets. The boss stated it was an over simplification of my occupation, an accentuation of my worth and made me do a re-evaluation; what an aberration! He causes me nothing but lamentation, I’m considering assassination for any further accusation. At least it got rid of my constipation, as I am now in need of an evacuation!
