Comedian is one of the headliners for this year's #CourtLaughing fesitval

TOP comedian Phill Jupitus is to bring his new tour to Hereford's Courtyard theatre.

The popular captain of music quiz Never Mind the Buzzcocks is one of the headliners for this year's #CourtLaughing festival.

The Courtyard held its first festival last year and sold a total of 1,519 tickets over the three days.

This year's festival is from June 7-9, with Phill appearing on Friday, June 7 at 8pm.

Phill is also a journalist and writes a weekly column for The Times' sport supplement The Game, presented in cartoon form, while he is also a key member of the successful show Totally Looped and lead singer with The Blockheads.

His new comedy show is a three-part performance with characters that he took to the Edinburgh Fringe last year.
