Golf range here to stay following lease renewal

HEREFORDSHIRE Golf Range is here to stay after owner Jonathan Phillips renewed the lease on the academy until 2027.

He decided to take this option after establishing the academy as a success in Herefordshire over the last 11 years.

“Herefordshire Golf Academy is here to stay and able to provide a great service for the foreseeable future,” said Mr Phillips.

“I wanted to establish a very decent golf range for golfers in the county, and I just want to carry on what has been successful so far.

“I’m a keen golfer myself, but due to time constraints I don’t get much time to play unfortunately.”

i look at it more as a creche for council leaders.
i think its good that they spend there afternoons here in a safe sheltered enviroment.
after all they could be roaming free causing havoc and randomly spending our money.

I personally am with Mark Twain on the subject of golf, however it does provide habitat for many creatures.
You can observe them on many a Saturday morning sporting their bright plumage and swinging their sticks about at the small balls.

Nice to see that with all the problems Hereford has: floods, traffic, badly thought out shopping centres, an 8 million pound new build to house some documents when there are people living on the streets, taking all of this into account - the most important thing to some people is .....spelling. Get your priorities right!!

As an after thought, wasn't there a comment from Retrexs on here earlier? Think that must have been deleted as well.
