YOUNG musicians were busy rehearsing and performing at an annual musical event this week, one that always brings local schools together.

The John Masefield High School hosted the annual Pyramid Prom last night (Thursday).

The stage was shared with young performers from many of the local primary schools.

John Masefield High School spokeswoman Wendy Bradbeer said: “The evening featured a host of performances from Ledbury, Colwall, Cradley, Ashperton and Bosbury primaries in an engaging mix of brass, woodwind and voice.

“This is always a popular event and is an amazing opportunity to showcase the talent of many young people in the area.
