THE BBC’s Countryfile team has spent a day filming at Herefordshire’s Golden Valley Llamas.

The team headed by presenters Julia Bradbury and Matt Baker spent a day filming at Old King Street Llama Farm in Ewyas Harold to cover a story about the llama farm and trekking centre.

Julia was introduced to the young specimens in their training herd, and learned how to fit a halter and groom a llama.

She took a trek with eight-year-old Brodgar, the national gelding llama champion, and interviewed Amanda Huntley and Robert Dewar on all matters llama.

The programme will be broadcast on Sunday (March 24) at 7pm on BBC1.

Bet Smudge is somewhere nearby! What did I say last week? Rabbits love John Craven!

Good on the llamas - two news stories in less than a fortnight!
