RUGBY star-slash-aspiring DJ Ollie Frost is bringing Ibiza back to the ‘booth, taking over Saxtys for a carnival of house music headlined by UK rising star Hannah Wants on Bank Holiday Sunday.

A slight change a pace for the Hereford club, Ollie teamed up with friend and promoter Martin Lott to line-up DJs from Birmingham and Cardiff – as well as live percussionist and sax players – bringing a slice of the White Isle to Widemarsh Street.

For one night only.

“It’s going to be something a bit unique for Hereford,” said Ollie.

“Just being out in Ibiza [he hasn’t missed a summer in four years], it’s amazing – we wanted to do something like that here.”

“Bass-heavy” Mixmag favourite Hannah Wants has an impressive all by herself - having played Creamfields, Annie Mac Presents, and Space in Ibiza, amongst many others both sides of the Channel.

And letting the pro’s take the big-money timeslots, Leeds Rugby’s Ollie couldn’t resist to chance to get on the decks for an early set.

“I took the decks up to Leeds with me, so I’ve been practicing,” said Ollie.

“On the night I’ll just be getting them warmed up for the other guys.”

Good Friday's next week, but with five DJs across 2 rooms, it's shaping up to be a Good Sunday in Saxtys.
