A National Trust property near Leominster is set to hold a beer festival this weekend (August 3-4).

Croft Castle and Parkland will play host to a selection of local breweries including Saxon City of Stoke Edith, Mayfields of Leominster, Simpsons Fine Ales based in Eardisland and Brew-On – a social enterprise brewery based in Bromyard.

There will also be bouncy castles for children, barbecues and live music, and the castle is open for tours during the morning before opening fully after 1pm.

Normal admission fees apply with free entry for National Trust members and children under five.

Entry after 5pm on Saturday is £2 and will include a Croft Beer Festival glass as a souvenir.
