HELP and advice is on hand for people with a learning disability and their families.
Learning Disability Week runs from Monday (August 19) to Sunday and people are invited to meet representatives from Mencap in High Town on Wednesday (August 21).
Information on living with a learning disability - ranging from housing, leisure, advocacy, work and support - will be available. People can also learn more about the Me Time project for adults with a learning disability who want to take part in social and leisure activities either on their own or as part of a group.
For more information contact Rose Hunt on firstname.lastname@example.org, call 07969 524 476 or visit www.mencap.org.uk/learningdisabilityweek.
